PTC is pleased to announce the 2008 Mid-Year Seminar presented in cooperation with CommunicAsia 2008. The one-day event will take place at the Swissotel The Stamford in the heart of Singapore at the Raffles City Convention Centre on Thursday, 19 June.

The theme of the seminar, Pacific Networks: Strategic Development will focus on two major topics in the broad telecommunications industries:

International Wholesale Transformation

• Global Wholesale Demand
• Broadband and Next Generation Networks
• Interconnect and Applications Driving Industry Change 

Developments in Submarines Cables

• Transpacific Capacity
• Can the Market Accommodate Any Further Cables in the Southeast Asian Region?
• Partnerships and Collaboration

The seminar is designed to both highlight the strengths of PTC and provide a complementary program to CommunicAsia without overlapping topic areas.

The June meeting of the PTC Board of Governors is also planned during this time and will be hosted in the offices of Pacnet in Singapore courtesy of PTC Treasurer, Bill Barney, CEO of Pacnet.
