PTC'05 Registration Information

Registration Booth is located in the Coral Lounge on the 6th Floor of the Mid-Pacific Conference Center at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa.

Those who are members in the individual category.
** Program Participants: Panelists, authors, chairpersons, speakers, presenters.
*** Faculty: Full time at a recognized academic institution. Include brief letter on official letterhead.
**** Student: Full time undergraduate/graduate students. Current school registration required. Please be advised that registration fees do not include lunches. The cost for lunch is an additional US$15 per day, on the days that lunch is served, unless sponsored.

ONE-DAY ONLY REGISTRATIONS (US$400 for one day)
PTC offers one-day registrations to individuals who will only be able to attend events of a particular day. One-day registrants may attend Sunday Only, Monday Only, Tuesday Only, or Wednesday Only. One-day registrations include sessions, breaks, exhibits and meal functions for that day only. This excludes the individual from any events outside of that day. Be sure to check the schedule carefully before you register. Registration materials will only be distributed to the Registrants for the day of their valid one-day registrations.

Non-conference attendees may not purchase Opening Reception tickets. The exception would be guests (description provided further down the list) of registered delegates, in which case, tickets can only be purchased for the guests by the registered delegates before or during the conference, based on availability. To receive tickets to these events, you must be registered for the entire conference or registered for the day of the event.

REGISTRATION POLICY

All credit card transactions are processed in US dollars and are subject to the current exchange rates. Only US dollars are accepted. International funds must be submitted in US dollars.

  • Registrations will not be processed without payment
  • Fee rates will be determined by the date payment is received
  • A valid form or photo identification must be presented to claim registration badge and materials.
  • Materials may not be picked up for another registrant, unless a copy of a valid form of photo identification of the registrant is provided.
  • PTC does not accept hotel deposits or reservations.

Full Registration includes:
Conference materials. Proceedings. All conference sessions, including round tables, and workshops (excluding those by invitation only). Exhibits. All food and beverage sponsored functions.

Student Registration includes all the above except lunches, unless sponsored. Each lunch ticket can be purchased for US$15.

One-day Registration includes: sessions, online proceedings, breaks, exhibits and food and beverage functions for that day. This excludes the individual from any events outside of that day.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
PTC will send a written confirmation to you within seven (7) working days of receipt by PTC. If you do not receive confirmation within this time, please contact Lorie Sugiki at +1.808.941.3789 ext. 129.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Paid registrations may be transferred to a substitute attendee that falls in the same registration category. All substitution requests must be submitted in writing. Substitutions received after Wednesday, 29 December 2004 are subject to an administrative fee of US$50.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via post, fax or e-mail. Cancellations received between Thursday, 30 September 2004 and Wednesday, 29 December 2004 are subject to a US$100 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after Wednesday, 29 December 2004.

PRE-REGISTRATION LIST DEADLINE
To be included in the Pre-Registration list, PTC must receive your completed registration form and payment by Friday, 7 January 2005.

VISA PROCESSING DELAYS
Please allow for ample time to obtain a visa before your planned travel to PTC'05. Visa applications are now subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. The U.S. Department of State recommends that visa applications are submitted 4-5 months in advance as delays are expected.
