ALOHA! Welcome to PTC’08!

ALOHA! Welcome to PTC’08!

In just one month, the island of Oahu will again earn its reputation as the "gathering place" as thousands come to Honolulu for the 30th anniversary PTC'08 conference. Months of planning by committed PTC members and the hard work of the dedicated secretariat staff will culminate in what has become the premier event in the Pacific hemisphere at the start of each year. With its rich history, its continuing leadership position as a major international conference and its status as a must- attend event for networking and business meetings, PTC is definitely the place to be each January. The conference this year is no exception to the 30-year tradition of attracting the most senior leaders in the global telecommunications and ICT industries. The conference program is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn from key industry stakeholders with discussions on the most relevant and forward-looking strategic issues.

It is our privilege to host you and your organization at PTC'08. Please let us know how we can make your participation at PTC’08 even better and help you kick-off the start of a great new year!

See you soon.

Competitive Advantage in Undersea Cable Ownership: Cause For Another Collapse?

by: John Hibbard, Member, PTC Board of Governors and CEO, Hibbard Consulting Pty, Australia

In May this year, the SubOptic meeting demonstrated the growing surge of interest in submarine cables.
