Chair Named for the Development Special Interest Group (SIG)

Stephanie Rolfe has agreed to Chair the PTC Development SIG. The group currently includes 22 PTC members including three Board of Governors and four Advisory Council members.

Stephanie has agreed to take a leadership role in facilitating discussion and coordinating an agenda leading to new initiatives for PTC in development issues with a view toward cooperative relations with many other organizations with similar interests.

A tentative slot has been included in the PTC'08 conference schedule for the group to utilize for a meeting on Wednesday 15 January 2008 pending further discussions leading up to the conference.

Congratulations also to Stephanie on passing the final oral examination of her dissertation for a Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Hawaii. Ms Rolfe (or rather Dr. Rolfe now!)  is returning to New Zealand in a consultancy practice.
