Hwan Chung is vice president of Mobile WiMAX Marketing Group in Telecommunication Systems Division, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., in Korea, where he is responsible for new business development, marketing engineering and global marketing for Mobile WiMAX end-to-end solution worldwide.

 Having led initiatives in so many markets, Mr Chung established close working ties with a number of major North & South America carriers. He has since accomplished a lot of dramatic business development  such as  Sprint, Mci , Covad etc.

Prior to joining Samsung, he worked for SK Telecom over 9 years in Systems Engineering, global operation and new business development areas. He also worked for Nexian and AirLynx for development of portable devices for cellular systems.

He holds a Doctorate, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA, a Bachelor of Science in Control Engineering from Seoul National University.
