Dr. Hui Pan is Chief Economist and an expert on Chinese and Asian telecommunications markets at IGI Group Inc. He tracks the global telecom market development and provides overall direction to the economic analysis of IGI. Dr. Pan has extensive expertise in the telecommunications market in China and Asia. He has authored numerous market and technology reports on the telecommunications market in China, and has undertaken many major consulting projects as lead consultant for international companies.  In addition, Dr. Pan is the editor of several newsletters including China Telecom and Asia Pacific Telecom newsletters.

He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Northeastern University.
