Submarine Cable Innovations for the Asia Pacific Region
PTC once again hosts its submarine cable executive session, this year with the theme: “Submarine Cable Innovations for the Asia Pacific Region”. Our experts will give concise presentations about a range of technological, operational and business innovations tailored to the unique market characteristics of the Pacific. Topics include long haul amplified cables for thin routes; techniques for exploiting shorter haul unrepeatered cables; bigger and better upgrades for existing systems; recovery and re-lay of older cables; and mesh networking to reduce protection costs. An expert panel will comment and critique speaker presentations, remove the hype and put current developments in perspective. As always, audience participation is strongly encouraged. We aim to provide a stimulating start to the 2007 conference!
