Kiyoshi Mori is Vice Minister for Policy Coordination (International Affairs), Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). He was appointed on July, 2007.
Before assuming this position, he was Director General of the Telecommunications Bureau and responsible for telecommunications policy and regulation, Internet governance, radio frequency management, online privacy, SPAM and other consumer protection issues.
As Vice Minister, he is currently head of MIC´s international team and principally deals with regulatory harmonization, bilateral dialogue, ODA and other matters of international coordination in the ICT area.
Regarding international activities, MIC developed the ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program in May, 2007 and he plays key role in the promotion of this program.
He graduated from Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo.
