In response to popular demand, PTC 2009 will again have a strong focus on submarine cables rippling through the conference. The boom in this market coupled with the intense interest in developments will see several sessions devoted to this topic. It will be a great opportunity to get an update on many facets of this industry segment.

We will hear an overview of the market demand and the developments within the USA in regards submarine cable approvals and the many twists associated with that. Again we will have presentations on techniques and technologies which will make it easier for aspiring cable owners to justify their investment. Servicing the smaller communities, particularly in the Pacific has been a constant theme and again we will have updates. New cable systems and new techniques to integrate the various systems will be included in the array of material presented.
