Sridhar Ramachandran is Chief Technologist of Interconnect Solutions at Telcordia Technologies. Prior to Telcordia, he co-founded NexTone Communications in February of 1998, and was its Chief Technology Officer, bringing to the company a wealth of technical and business background in mobile and IP communications.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ramachandran has been at the forefront of networking technology and has influenced the communications industry tremendously with innovative products and practices that have been very successful in the marketplace. His unique insights led to the creation of the Session Border Controller (SBC), a $650M market that fundamentally changed the way telecom operators build out their networks. He has spoken at over 65 events globally, including PTC, VON, IEEE events, and various IMS forums.

Mr. Ramachandran is also a columnist on Mobile and IP Technologies on TMC.net, and in print edition of Internet Telephony, and has been featured on the cover of VON magazine.
