Prior to Qwest, Vab was a principal architect for the Sprint Internet backbone and drove the world's first IP over Sonet and IP over DWDM networks. He played a key role in the Global One IP network, a France Telecom, Sprint and Deutsche Telecom venture. Vab serves on the board of Virtela, LifeSize Communications (acquired by Logitech), and Unisfair, and has worked closely with Extreme Networks. Other investments include C2C Pte.
