Federation of Regional Associations (FORA)

FORA is an informal association of Pacific Hemisphere regional organizations who share similar missions, values and interests in the development and use of information communication technology throughout the region. Hosted by the Pacific Telecommunications Council this web page has been created to provide information on each participating organization, links to their own websites and a joint calendar (forthcoming). PTC organizes and hosts FORA meetings each January in conjunction with the Annual PTC conference in Honolulu.

WCA

Founded in 1993, the Wireless Communications Alliance is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting education, connection, and community for the wireless communication industry. The WCA organizes monthly events featuring experts and leaders from around the world on a wide spectrum of topics, and provides for the needs of vertically-integrated markets through an extensive Special Interest Group program. The WCA is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.

WCET WCET was founded by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) in 1989. WCET is a cooperative organization with colleges and universities as members. We work together to solve some of the problems that arise as technology is integrated into the teaching/learning aspects of higher education. Our work covers state and national policy barriers, quality assurance systems, new costing methodologies, knowledge exchanges, and other areas that have to change as higher education institutions begin operating in new ways.
