Dear PTC Members and Affiliates,

I thought it would be timely to provide you all with an update regarding Sharonโ€™s retirement, which is now official. From my perspective, Sharon is irreplaceable, but nevertheless, a strategy is in place to find a new CEO.

Sharonโ€™s retirement took effect at the end of March 2022. She is now enjoying a well-deserved break, however, Sharon will be back with us to help steer some specific initiatives and also help us ease in the new CEO โ€“ once that person is identified. Although Sharon has retired, she certainly is still definitely part of the team!

The Executive Committee with the support of the BG has been working to retain a global executive search firm and will soon begin the process of finding our new CEO. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tara Giunta and John Gasparini from our legal firm, Paul Hastings, for their help and support in this matter.

PTC continues to power ahead and the entire Secretariat team remains focused on our extensive range of outreach programs throughout the year, along with the forward planning necessary to deliver a fantastic PTCโ€™23.

In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharon for her contributions over the many years which has seen PTC evolve, grow, and remain hyper-relevant in our industry.

Kind regards,

Sean Bergin
