Digital infrastructure refers to the underlying technology that enables digital services such as the Internet, mobile networks, cloud computing, and data centers. As digitalization continues to transform all aspects of the economy and society, digital infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical for economic growth and social development.

Stakeholders including Peter Hopper, managing director at DigitalBridge; Kristin O’Connor Leung, managing director of GIC Real Estate; and Ariana Batori, senior investment officer / global lead broadband investments for IFC – International Finance Corporation discussed the opportunities and risks of investing in digital infrastructure projects through the lens of financial returns, contrasting these across a mix of developed and emerging markets and different asset classes.
