Each year, PTC recognizes excellence in research at theย PTC Annual Conferenceย through theย Meheroo Jussawalla Research Awardย for the best participant research paper.

Theย Meheroo Jussawalla Research Awardย is named in honor of Meheroo Jussawalla, a leading scholar in the economics of telecommunications. Jussawalla published 15 books in the field and garnered several national and international awards, including two from the Pacific Telecommunications Council.
Congratulations to the 2023 award recipient,ย Richard Canevez, a postdoctoral scholar from the School of Communication and Information at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Richard will be presenting his paper โAll-encompassing War: An Exploration of Information Disorder Countermeasures Through Smooth and Striated Spaceโ at PTCโ23 on Tuesday, 17 January 2023 inย Securityย from 08:30-09:45 HST in the MPCC, Nautilus 1 & 2.
