Timothy J. Logue is a space and satellite industry consultant, having worked in the sector for more than 45 years. He previously served in senior sales and marketing positions with both Thales Alenia Space and Orbital Sciences Corp. (now part of Northrop) in their Washington, DC area offices. Mr. Logue began his career as a policy specialist with the Communications Satellite Corporation, which was the US shareholder in Intelsat at the time. He then worked as a staff consultant on many satellite and telecommunications projects while with two different law firms, Reid & Priest and Coudert Brothers. He returned to industry in 2006 when he joined Orbital.

He has been active with professional organizations for many years and has served in several leadership positions, including as chair or co-chair of the Advisory Council of the Pacific Telecommunications Council and then chair of its Board of Governors. He is currently Secretary to the board. He has also served in leadership positions with other satellite industry-related organization including as President of the Society of Satellite Professionals International’s Mid-Atlantic Division (Washington, D.C., 2000-2002) and as Treasurer and now Chair of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation.

He holds a master’s degree in international communications from American University’s School of International Service and a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in journalism.

Prior to RPS, Tony worked for TierPoint as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, where he was responsible for overseeing revenue growth, managing the daily operations of TierPoint’s national sales organization, and devising the company’s strategic plan. He was part of the 3-person executive team that raised $325 million to drive the company’s growth.

Prior to TierPoint, Tony served as Managing Director for Digital Realty Trust’s colocation and connectivity business unit, and earlier was Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Strategy for Telx Group, Inc. Under his leadership, APTelecom has also developed a culture of giving back, and established its signature “State of Subsea ” series, which is a 501c charity organization whose proceeds are donated to select global non-profit organizations.

Prior to founding APTelecom, Mr. Handa worked for AT&T, Tyco Telecommunications, TATA Communications and Bharti Airtel in a number of senior operations, research, and sales assignments. He has covered and resided (over 14 years) in a multitude of primary and emerging markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Along with APTelecom Co-Founder and President Sean Bergin, Mr. Handa has generated over half a billion dollars in sales for clients throughout his career.

Mr. Handa is an expert contributor to Wired.com’s “Innovation Insights” section, and is regularly quoted by the most prestigious global media outlets in the world on the topic of telecom in emerging markets, including Entrepreneur Radio, Bloomberg BusinessWeek Telecom Review North America, SubTel Forum, CommsDay, and Fierce Telecom.

Mr. Handa graduated with honors from Bryant University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and completed the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business Executive MBA program in Hong Kong and Chicago at DePaul University. He sits on the board of Bryant University and is a Trustee. Mr. Handa won the school’s 2013 Young Alumni Leadership Award for his contributions to the institution. He also attended the executive education program at the University of Chicago as a sponsored executive. He is a former member of the Asia Society and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce ICT Committee. He is proficient in Mandarin. Handa played NCAA baseball for the Bulldogs (pitcher).

Darren Griffiths

Darren currently holds the position of Head of Marine Maintenance within Optic Marine Group leading the Marine Maintenance portfolio across the fleet, spanning the Atlantic, SE Asian, and Pacific regions. Having experience in both commercial and operational positions across his initial time working for Alcatel Submarine Networks, and now with Optic Marine Group, Darren brings invaluable knowledge and experience of working and cultural relationships within the various regions and understands the difficulties the industry faces in each of these areas.
