How can telecommunications technologies help humanity?
Many companies should strive to provide telecommunications access in all places across the globe. This goal is not on the shoulders of one country or one company, but rather a collaboration between them all. All industries would need to have this goal to support such growth. AIRSYS is a global company, and we take pride in providing cooling solutions capable of being used in most places on earth.
What network-related development will have the greatest impact in our industry?
AI will have the biggest impact on our industry over the next three to five years. With AI growing and providing more automation into everyday life, having fiber and data centers ready and able to support that growth will be a major challenge in the coming years. We’ve prepared for the growth in AI by developing efficient cooling solutions to cool the next generation of AI data centers.
Is it important for companies to continue to innovate their organization or offerings, and why?
For companies to stay relevant in the ICT industry, they must keep up with innovation. AIRSYS won the 2023 Frost and Sullivan Award, which recognizes fast-growing and innovative companies. As the ICT industry changes, grows, and switches directions, organizations need to be willing and ready to adapt to survive.
What value does PTC hold for you/your company?
PTC provides a platform and venue for like-minded individuals in the ICT space to collaborate, network, and build relationships. Growing companies need to have the visibility to be seen and an avenue to share their products and ideas—PTC does just that.
How does PTC fit your company’s goals or career purpose?
PTC’s value for us is in its networking events. PTC’s Annual Conference allows companies from all throughout the world to come together in a unique space. The event is well–thought–out and organized. Months beforehand, you get access to the event’s mobile app to start networking and setting up meetings to best make use of your time during the conference.
What advice would you share with current and future graduates interested in this field?
Don’t be afraid to start from the ground up and work your way up through your career. To learn about this industry, you need to have experience in multiple aspects of telecommunications.
What industry mogul or up-and-coming leader have you followed or are currently pursuing, and why?
I recently had the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Marc Ganzi, CEO of DigitalBridge. His informative and modern approach to this industry regarding AI in the coming years was inspiring to me as a professional.
What is something that not that many people know about you?
I went to school for nursing but fell in love with technology and switched my major to computer science. Soon after, I secured a job working for a wireless carrier. But my passion for helping people never went away, so for the past five years I have been a volunteer firefighter/EMT, currently holding a Lieutenant position.
