TE SubCom, along with a consortium including Aqua Comms, Bulk Infrastructure, Facebook and Google, today announced that a contract has come into force for TE SubCom to supply the HAVFRUE Cable System. HAVFRUE, the Danish word for mermaid, is the first cable in almost two decades that will traverse the North Atlantic to connect mainland Northern Europe to the U.S.A.
