Aloha! Greetings from the PTC Awards 2022 Committee! This is our “Save the Date” for submissions by 1 October 2021 for the annual PTC Awards 2022 to be presented at PTC’22: Reunite. Rethink. Renew. in January.
A region as dynamic as ours is driven by improvements in ICT. Here at PTC, we honor outstanding contributions by individuals and organizations to the industry in general and the people of the Pacific Rim in particular through an awards program that kicked off four years ago, to mark the 40th anniversary of PTC. We had wonderful in-person evening ceremonies at the Hilton Hawaiian Village during the Annual Conferences for several years, but had to accommodate the change the pandemic brought. Now, we’re back!
For PTC’22, we will honor outstanding contributions to ICT in our region through a hybrid online and in-person event in Waikiki. We need YOU to continue to make our awards a success. With PTC’s mission of supporting the ethical deployment of ICTs in our region front and center, the awards will acknowledge the outstanding contributions being made to improve the ability of people and firms in the Pacific region to connect, communicate, collaborate, and experience an enhanced quality of life through ICT.
Categories for the upcoming awards will cover most outstanding providers across the ICT industry with respect to both network services and subsea providers, cloud and data centers, and applications, as well as for most outstanding C-level officer, female executive, and diversity and inclusion champion. With our eye to the future, new this year will be an award for outstanding start-up and outstanding up-and-coming leader. We will also continue with a PTC favorite – outstanding support for PTC’s vision and mission.
Any organization or individual (as applicable to the category) based in the Pacific region or doing business in the Pacific region may submit an entry for the awards. Please stay tuned for the official call for submissions. Our judges look forward to reviewing the many worthy submissions!
