In celebration of the profound impact made by dedicated individuals within the PTC Community, we’re honored to kick off nominations for the 2024 Richard J. Barber PTC Distinguished Service Award. If you’ve observed an individual who has consistently added value to this community, now is your opportunity to propose a deserving individual for well-earned recognition, acknowledging their profound contributions to our organization.

This distinguished award, named in honor of Richard J. Barber, PTC’s founding executive director, is a symbol of distinction that applauds exceptional leadership, transformative impact, and pioneering innovation.

If you’re interested in submitting a nominee, we encourage you to familiarize yourselves with the nomination guidelines and send in your nominations via email to honors@ptc.org no later than Friday, October 6, 2023.

All nominations will undergo a meticulous review process by the PTC Honors Committee, which will then present their recommendations to PTC’s Board of Governors for final approval.

Our past honorees have included outstanding individuals such as William (Bill) Barney, Elizabeth Fife, Heather Hudson, Mark Hukill, Tim Logue, Klaus Gueldenpfennig, Tara Giunta, Robert Walp, Sharon Nakama, and John Hibbard.

We’re excited to announce the chosen awardee during the PTC’24 Awards Ceremony, scheduled to take place in Honolulu this January.
