SACHIN GUPTA
Founder
New Street Capital Asia

Anybody can have an opinion about where the mobile industry is going. Fewer can back those opinions with actual facts, much less supply the sort of analysis that requires decades of study and context, ignoring all the “noise” and focusing on the underlying driving trends and realities.

Sachin Gupta is the head of New Street Capital Asia, a specialist telecom, media and technology (TMT) advisory business. At Spectrum Futures he will speak about where the telecom and mobile businesses are headed, and what the key challenges will be. Prior to this, he was the head of Asian telecoms and ASEAN equity research at Nomura, where his team was ranked number one in various market surveys including Institutional Investor. He also worked at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan covering telecoms and other sectors. He graduated from UNSW in Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics & Finance (HONS) and is a CFA charterholder.
